Born and bred in south London Tony D grew up listening to all genres of music including soul and jazz-funk. His passion for these genres soon progressed into playing private parties for his friends and family.
He also went to some of the most prestigious clubs and bars in and around London including crackers,100 club, lyceum, and ended up playing out to some of the big bars in the old Kent road.
Fuelled by his passion for this music he then decided to buy his own mobile disco and branch out hiring himself out to clubs’ bars and discos. And soul weekenders up and down the country and abroad.
Around 2007 he moved over into internet radio and was offered his first show at Morpher Radio which then changed names and turned into JFSR Radio. He also did shows for Cruise FM and more recently Crackers Radio, which was founded by the late legendary George Powers, who hosted that famous crackers nightclub.
